Intown’s Elders

Elders, together with the senior pastor, comprise what is known as Intown's Session, whose role is to lead and serve our church. Elders at Intown provide vision, leadership, and care for the church. They are elected by the congregation and ordained to this office. Bible texts that describe elders include Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

Intown’s Women’s Advisory Committee

Intown’s Women’s Advisory Committee was established by the Session in early 2025. This first Committee, consisting of four godly and mature women, is working for one year as an interim committee to help define the role and work of the Committee going forward. The key purpose for the committee is to help the elders benefit more regularly and intentionally from the gifts and wisdom of the women that God has brought to Intown. This is one among many ways Intown reflects our belief that everyone is valued and vital to the work that God is doing in and through our church.

Intown’s Diaconal Ministry Team

Our Diaconal Ministry Team meets a wide range of practical needs in our church and develops connections with our Community Partners, 9 agencies that help us to make meaningful impact on the wider community. DMT Members are elected by the congregation and commissioned by our Elders to serve in this role.
