Join us Nov. 20–21 at Intown Coffeehouse for a Culture and Christianity event on the theme of "God Loves the Stranger," where we explore what it means to extend Christlike hospitality to immigrants and refugees in our communities. We will launch Friday evening with a film discussion around the documentary, "Jesus Was a Migrant" at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., we will gather for a live video presentation on the book, "Welcoming the Stranger," by one of the authors to help us understand from a Christian point of view, the issue of immigration and the biblical call to love our neighbor as ourselves.
