What is the most important thing about us? As the church? As Intown? As individual Christians? What goes wrong if the most important thing about me is something other than Jesus? Applause? Approval? Failure? The only way to be of benefit to the world—to love our neighbors, to serve our God—is if the thing that defines us… is not us. In other words: our identity is in Jesus. We are in him, joined to him, united to him. That is who we are.
