“The Rise of the Nones”with Dr. Jimmy Agan
It’s the fastest-growing religious group in the United States is the group of people who say they have no connection to any religious group, community, or tradition—those who are most likely to say on a survey that their religion is “none.” Over the next several weeks, we will hear God’s calling to love and serve our neighbors who are in this rapidly expanding group. We will learn to understand who these neighbors are, what their heart “language” is, what cultural trends inform that language, and how to faithfully translate good news about Jesus into that language. Thirty-minute teaching sessions will be followed by plenty of time for discussion and application in breakout groups

As part of a broader discussion around Faith and Science, this series focuses on creation and evolution from a biblical viewpoint.

“Is Marriage Still Relevant?” with Intown Pastors
In a world where our understanding of relationships seems to be constantly changing, why is marriage needed? What are the benefits of marriage, and does it make sense to see these as gifts designed by God? How might a covenantal view of marriage differ from a contractual view? Whoever you are, and whatever your relationship status, these questions are impacting you. Join us in February for an exploration of marriage in contemporary culture and of ways Christians can lean into the conversation with grace and wisdom.
