Serve in the Church

Known in Community

Why serve in the church?

Scripture says that we are called to do our part in building up the body of Christ through service. In order for a church to remain healthy and vibrant, it requires a lot of helpers. When you volunteer to help in any capacity, you not only contribute to our church’s mission. You also benefit from the experience of being known in community where you are serving together with others.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Ephesians 4:16 (NIV)
